Who Was Jesus?

  1. Dear Kate, I truly loved your article BIBLICAL PROPHECIES FULFILLED IN JESUS CHRIST. Here are some more that may be of interest to your readers. 1. Not only is Jesus, as the Christ, called “the Word of God” (John 1:1 and John 3:34); but He is the reason that the Bible was written! (See Psalm 40:7 where it says: ” Then said I, (the LORD God speaking)Lo, in the volume of the book (“book” NOT “scroll”) it is written of me.”) That is, the Bible tells us of the Image and Likeness of God as seen BY, IN, and THROUGH Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us of His very mind, heart, and spirit. Compare this with the “book” spoken of in Revelation 5:1 and the statement of Jesus at John 14:6 and we see that no one but Jesus Christ can reveal the Truth to us. 2. Since the Prophet Jeremiah was a “type” or “foreshadowing” of Christ; the following words at Jeremiah 9:1-2 could likely have been thought by Jesus. “Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughters of my people! Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place (cave?) of wayfaring (wandering?) men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.” And 3. At Isaiah 66:2 it says:”… but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit and trembles at my word.” This was and is Jesus Christ. Let us all: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify (give witness to) me.” John 5:39. God bless everyone.

    1. Thank you so much for adding this! 🙂 May He bless you.
